Up for sale is an exceptional Hentschel Colonial Grandfather Clock made from Solid Cherry.   Purchased in 2001.   Made in Windsor Canada, Hentschel is now out of business but made the best clocks in North America.   Features:
• Superior workmanship.  Burl Wood details on face.
• Quality Hermle German movement with 8 day wind

• FOUR chime options:  Westminster, Whittington, St. Michaels, Winchester
• Can set to silence from 10PM to 7am, or chime only on full hours.
• Solid Cherry NOT manufactured wood

• Approx 89" inches tall (7.42 feet)
• Locking door with key
• Pendulum and weights are brass with no smudging
Clock was professionally oiled in summer of 2020.  Movement is in good condition, technician said clock should be cleaned in 5 years.
There are two hard to notice small blemishes near top part of clock (bad movers) from repeated blanket rubbing.  Can be repaired if needed as it's top layer of wood finish only.  Otherwise cosmetic condition is excellent.  No scratches that I can see.
You can expect to pay 10K or more for a new solid cherry clock, if you can find one.  Hermle movement is superior to Keiniger.
Selling because I will be moving this summer and I want to make things easier.   Because this is an expensive item, I am agreeable that you look it over IN PERSON, and if you change your mind I will accept a "return."   I cannot accept a return once it leaves my house.
