    Description

    Fresh from a Local Estate....
This beautiful  Grandfather clock was created by renown clockmaker Sligh and is a marvelous Made in the USA reproduction of an early 19th century clock with beveled glass & extensive use of flame mahogany.
The scrolled side viewing ports provide a view of the intricate Sligh brass movement.
The clock face is equally as interesting as it features the iconic scrolling moon phases.
The upper bonnet is supported by fluted doric columns & topped with Architectural scroll works and topped by an urn final finshing the overall look.
It is adorned with marvelous brass details such as the escutcheons hingers and keyholes all adding up to a beautiful yet functional piece that you and your family with enjoy for generations to come.
The unit measures a grand stately 82.5" tall by approx 22.3/8" wide yet just over 13" deep.
    Shipping
The piece will require Movers to get into your home and many of my Clients have successfully utilized uship for this service. Simply tell them what you need moved and provide our zip code of 28105 and you will receive numerous quotes to have this exquisite piece placed in the location of your choice.
Otherwise local pickup is always free.
Please note: The Brass weights have been removed as has the pendulum for moving as you do not want these banging around during shipment. You will need to have these
rehung and the clock set up upon delivery.
    Condition
There is minimal wear but it is used so please review the pictures and consider this before commiting to purchase. It includes the original key. The part of clock face foil overlay has slightly bent but should be easily fixed by hand. Again the pendulum and weights will need to be reset. The movement has not been tested for winding. One of the weights will require brass caps (upper and lower)  which can be purchased quite cheaply from Clockworks or Time Experts. Because of the overall size, cost of shipping and the fact that this is a used item this piece is being sold as is with no return. I have factored this into the price just in case there are any surprises with the movement (But this is unlikely)
Please carefully review the pictures and examine by zooming in and ask any and all questions before commuting to purchase.
    You won't be disappointed.
    Thanks for looking
